Ocarinas

The Ocarina is an enchanting and fun instrument, most well known for its prominence in the video game franchise The Legend of Zelda. However, its roots and history stem back thousands of years across countless cultures.
Today the most common forms of the Ocarina are the Pendant (or 6-Hole) and Transverse (or 12-Hole). Ocarinas come in many shapes, sizes and tunings, all of which are fully chromatic. The Pendant ocarinas shorter range is made up for with its portability and size. One can easily be worn as a pendant and promptly picked-up and played at a moments notice. While the Transverse ocarina boasts a larger range and more linear fingering system, allowing for more complex and fast-paced passages.
Whichever calls to you, we have a variety of songbooks available in both traditional sheet music form as well as specialized ocarina tablature.
